Simple Handmade Rakhis
- Strands of silk threads
- A pair of scissors
- Cotton threads to tie knots
- Beads, stars, golden threads and sponge to adorn
- Paste
- A toothbrush with hard bristles.
- Hard paper
Method :
- Take multicolored silk thread strands to give your Rakhi vibrant
appearance.
- Now cut the silk threads in sizes which seem to fit wrists of all
and sundry.
- Tie a tight knot with a cotton thread on the silken thread bunch.
Or you can also use the hard paper to make the central portion of
rakhi by making some holes in the center of the round cut hard
paper.
- To make the silk threads more fluffy and soft, rub them hard
using tooth brush.
- Now decorate the half complete rakhis with beads or stars. Stick
them with glue. You can use sponge of an appropriate color, cut it
into a star shape and decorate it with beads or stars.
