Make Ornamented Rakhis on the occasion of this
Raksha Bandhan. This handmade Rakhi craft activity is very easy for
kids to follow and learn.

Ornamented Rakhis
- Multicolored Silk threads
- A pair of scissors
- Sitaras, golden threads, beads, dry flower petals
- A piece of hard and bright shining paper
- Double sided tap
- Washing brush with bristles
Method :
- Cut the multicolored threads according to the required size.
- Take the shining piece of paper and cut it into star shape or any
other shape you like.
- Make small holes in the centre of the cut paper so that silk
threads can be easily tied to it (put the cut piece at the centre of
the threads).
- Now stick sitaras, beads, dry flower petals etc. with the help of
the double sided tape.
- Take the washing brush and run it through the silk threads to
make them more fluffy and loose. It gives a better look to the rakhi
threads.
